Idea Submission for The People's Money:: A mobile, choice-based pantry that allows families to select their own groceries, fresh produce, hygiene supplies, and household essentials. This model reduces food waste, promotes dietary dignity, and brings high-quality resources directly into underserved neighborhoods through pop-up distribution events.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Traditional food pantry models often limit choice, contributing to waste, embarrassment, and unmet dietary needs. Many families lack access to fresh, healthy food due to transportation barriers, long pantry lines, or limited hours. This program restores dignity, increases food access, and ensures families receive items they will actually use.
