Spread Love: A Youth Led, Intergenerational Initiative for Healing, Confidence, and Community Connection

What is your idea?
Spread Love is a youth led, intergenerational anti bullying initiative created by We The People 4 The People By The People, Inc. Inspired by my daughter's experience with bullying, we create safe spaces where youth build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and learn conflict resolution. Through healing circles, self defense, mentorship, modeling, photography, and creative expression, young people discover their strengths and support one another. Our vision is to empower youth to lead with empathy, promote respect, and create a safer, more connected community.
What problem is your idea trying to solve?
Spread Love addresses bullying, social isolation, low self-esteem, and the lack of safe spaces where young people can openly discuss their experiences and build healthy relationships. Bullying can affect a child's confidence, emotional well-being, sense of belonging, and ability to thrive. Too often, youth lack access to positive mentorship, conflict resolution skills, and creative outlets that help them feel seen and valued. Our idea bridges this gap by bringing young people and caring adults together through healing circles, self-defense, mentorship, and creative expression to build confidence, empathy, accountability, and a stronger community.
