Cultural Workshops for All

Idea Submission for The People's Money:
More cultural parades and fairs should be funded in neighborhoods that don't often see these events. Businesses that participate in the parades and fairs should agree to donate a certain percentage to schools in the area for clubs and cultural initiatives. There should be a pay-what-you-can fee for these parades. Additionally, schools should have the opportunity to organize students and participate in these fairs for there schools/
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
New York City is the most diverse city in the world, but different ethnic and cultural groups between neighborhoods often struggle to connect due to cultural barriers. Funding art initiatives bring the community together while advancing small business and schools.
