Describe the challenge you want to address:
Children's need to experience the community, cooperation, and tangible and intellectual stimulus of playing music with others.
What is the solution to the challenge?
Hands-on music (universal language) education after school in the public schools, including the experience of learning/mastering a musical instrument (to be provided by the school) and learning music notation, enabling the students' enjoyment of performing together with peers in an orchestra/band, a sense of competence, with the potential for lifetime enrichment.
