What problem would you like to solve?

Not having school courses for after high school plans.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The issue of not informing students of all their options after high school is important because some kids don't even believe they can go to college let alone have multiple options if furthering their education isn't what they want. Without the proper support it leaves adolescence feeling lost and not being productive after they graduate.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Having a mandatory course for at least half the school year that doesn't only cover college success and information but all options like trade school, military, etc.

    Who would that help?

All kids in the New York City school system that are going to graduate high school and New York because you'll will be preparing kids to helpful and be productive members of the city.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Bronx
