- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- One solution would be to offer the opportunity of hands on work experience in different industries. Teens and young adults would be able to earn money through paid internships and gain insight on career paths. This would help them build a resume as well learn what field of work they would like to pursue in the future.
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- I would like to address the challenge of keeping youth off the streets, and give them more hope for their future. The city offers Summer Youth Employment, but that is only for two months out of the year. There needs to be an option during the school year.
