Idea Submission for The People's Money:
An after school program that teaches kids how to cook, affordable and sustainable nutritious meals. Additionally, teach students about the cuisines and essence of different food and how they are put together. Allocate a budget for participants to use to purchase ingredients. To inspire some competition we could incorporate challenges and “cookoffs”. We could even expand our reach by creating a YouTube channel.
