Senior Rides to Events and Parks
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- Needed is a transportation system for the seniors so they can attend the free events and possibly see our parks and beaches. There are free concerts at the Alice Austen House, but Seniors find it impossible to attend right in our neighborhood.
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- Seniors are feeling there is a need for them to get to events outside of the building. They feel isolated and are often depressed. There is a need to feel a part of the larger community.
