Perform A Higher Task
- What is your idea?
- My idea is to inform black and brown communities of education and job placement opportunities in a low intensity environment. Fostering any public desire to participate will help bridge outreach to vulnerable populations with real experience and career development that will benefit both the individual and our city. By focusing solely on a participant’s interests during beginning development stages, as an operator of this program you are able to distinguish between what will be only a job for a client, and what will be a sustainable career that they enjoy.
- What problem is your idea trying to solve?
- Minority families and disenfranchised young persons typically find a way to survive by finding a job that can feed their family. Succumbing to define a “good job” as one that makes sure they can put food on the table and pay their bills. An expansive higher education and job training literacy program links men, women and children who are interested; with where they need to go and what they can do to follow their dreams.
