Transgender Migrant Support

There are a lot of transgender and gender nonconforming (GNC) people who have fled other states with increasingly discriminatory laws to come to New York. We should fund supportive services to help connect folks with access to services and community and help with travel expenses.

We are a welcoming city and should work to greet new immigrant and internal migrant neighbors with open arms. LGBTQ folks often move here to escape bad situations around the country and fill into poverty because there is not enough specialized support.
