Idea Submission for The People's Money:: We propose installing a citywide network of easily accessible machines for collecting glass and plastic containers, as well as paper waste. Residents will be able to return recyclables and receive monetary compensation, which will increase recycling rates and improve the cleanliness of NYC. To ensure the project's self-sufficiency, we recommend equipping the machines with LCD screens capable of displaying commercial advertisements.
