Idea Submission for The People's Money:
A free multi disciplinary extracurricular arts program for k-12 students that will provide classes of all levels, performance opportunities, showcases, art material, internships, and events. For example, introductorymusic lessons, access to classes in various cultural dance forms, figure drawing classes.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Students across Brooklyn do not have equitable access to arts programs. Many schools only provide art credits that are required to graduate, leaving creatively minded people without opportunities.
