Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Bike ride outs are an important part of NYC culture, particularly for the youth and currently ride outs are criminalized due to their size and perceived disruptive impact. They are also somewhat dangerous. The city should promote rideouts in a safe environment while also promoting safety and street safety.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Bike ride outs sanctioned by NYC and the event serves as a fundraiser for street safety awareness programs and is welcome for all new Yorkers to join. It draws inspiration from cancer walks and is focused on safe streets while uplifting this aspect of NYC youth culture.
