Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Open to all boroughs but with focus on Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Groups of 10 people with facilitator. A time for parents to share and discuss questions/concerns/ideas. Have a sense of community. Light snacks/small meals depending on time/budget. Including transportation.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: When single parents have more support, they will be less need for other services in the long run, addressing their mental health will allow them to get a job, better care for their children. Therefore eventually less need for family interventions in the long run.
