Intergenerational companionship program (ICP)
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- In this program older and younger New Yorkers will be matched for companionship. Some of the benefits are community building, empathy, a therapeutic outlet, addressing loneliness and life skills as well as purpose for all. We can see this being integrated to high school fulfilling culture and community service hours.
