Get to Know our Selected Implementation Partners, Bringing New Yorkers' Ideas to Life for the The People's Money's 3rd Cycle!

After reviewing applications from community-based organizations across the city, we have identified 20 organizations to turn the winning ideas into projects! Our Implementation Partners will soon begin preparing to develop their projects to launch in early 2026!

What happens during Project Implementation?

After the voting results are determined and the winning project ideas are announced, the CEC works closely with selected contracted community partners that applied to bring the winning ideas to life! Over the course of the year, the CEC ensures they are supported, effectively monitored, and that projects are completed successfully.

How Project Implementation Works

  • The CEC invites community-based organizations to apply to turn the ideas into projects through a robust and competitive selection process. CEC staff review applications thoroughly to ensure selected partners will be able to successfully complete their projects and have experience in and passion for the project's impact area.

  • Selected organizations implement the projects throughout the year with capacity building and project management support from the CEC. In collaboration with The New School's Graduate Program in International Affairs, these Project Cycle Management workshops support the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and consistent reporting out of the projects.

How to Get Involved

Project Implementation runs from October 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026. Here's how you can participate:

  • Learn about the projects currently being implemented in your community! Check out our Project Implementation page or watch our "What's in Your Borough?" series on our YouTube channel @nyccec!

  • Before Project Implementation begins, community organizations or groups can apply to partner with the CEC to implement winning project ideas.
