What problem would you like to solve?

The problem that we would like to solve is the lack of therapists and therapy translators who speak different languages.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because mental health remains taboo in many cultures because there has been a lack of therapists and mental health workers who speak different languages and can speak to and educate different people.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

An idea to combat this issue is for the city to push and encourage POC students to train as therapists to support a wide variety of individuals.

    Who would that help?

This would help families and those who suffer from mental health but lak te proper language support to seek help.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

All boroughs would benefit from this idea.
