Isolation of Queer Southeast Asian youth. Not having the resources to live their authentic life.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

LGBTQ+ individuals face health disparities linked to social stigma, discrimination, and denial of their civil and human rights. Discrimination against LGBTQ+ persons has been associated with high rates of mental health and wellness, anxiety, substance abuse, and suicide.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Creating safety net programs, and providing direct services & resources.
