What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of job training and vocational assistance services in communities of color.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Communities of color lack representation in many job fields with the nature of inequity. Tt is more likely the POC lack the support needed at schools to be adequately prepared to enter the workplace.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Schools of communities should offer job training and vocational assistance. This can range from job training, resume building, support for professional clothing, haircuts, and even help with college applications, higher education apps, and assistance with applying for student loans.

    Who would that help?

    Everyone

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    Washington Heights
