What problem would you like to solve?

To introduce Far rockaway Youth to post high school graduation employment and career opportunities in aviation.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

JFK international Airport is one of the largest employers in Queens County and is growing. Black, brown and low -income persons have little exposure and opportunities in aviation beyond food service, warehouse maintenance and customer service.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

To create a youth aviators program to train, educate and certify for Far Rockaway Youth to become drone aviators.

Who would that help?

Far Rockaway high School aged youth interested in careers in aviation.
