Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Create afterschool and extracurricular programs and services all inclusive and also concentrate on children on the autistic spectrum. Provide activities in sports, music, dance, art, computers, etc. Establishing connections between the children neuro-divergent and neuro-typical. It also establishes early intervention for them which establishes growth, social, emotional, physical and mental health.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
We are unaware of any extracurricular programs or services which are inclusive and offering programs and services to those on the autistic spectrum. There has been a 312% increase in children diagnosed with autism. It affects boys 4x higher than girls and it is becoming more common in persons of color.
