Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Let's invest the People's Money for additional pool hours for free swim lessons. It could be integrated into existing lap swim hours. It could also include or lead to a junior lifeguard program
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Queens has Astoria Pool, but also it's situated between 2 waterfront housing projects. Residents may be less likely to have access to free or affordable swim lessons and lifeguard training.
