Idea Submission for The People's Money:: The Muslim safety & hate crime prevention initiative aims to protect Muslim residents in Brooklyn. At least train more than 500 plus Muslim community members in safety and crisis response.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Muslim residents in Brooklyn are facing increased harassment, intimidation, and hate-motivated incidents. Many community members do not feel safe and do not have access to culturally relevant safety education or crisis-response resources. This lack of support leaves individuals and families vulnerable during emergencies and contributes to fear and isolation in the community.
