Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Creating more opportunities and support for setting up small business greater education about workers’ rights; utilizing virtual and tech resources for outreach and training; ensuring accessibility for language; disabilities etc. Targeting underserved communities, e.g. LGBTQIA, ELL Learners, older adults, differently able people.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Companies are reducing workforce size, they do not “take care" of employees like before. NYS is an “at will” state and so workers rights, union etc. need protection and people/workers need to be educated about their rights. Unemployment among young people and older people is too high.
