Accessible Health Screenings for All

Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Create a free community health-check program that provides basic medical screenings for families, seniors, and undocumented community members. The program would offer services such as blood pressure checks, glucose screenings, health education, and referrals, delivered in a welcoming, culturally sensitive, and language-accessible environment.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Many families, seniors, and undocumented residents struggle to access affordable healthcare and routine check-ups. Barriers such as cost, lack of insurance, fear of seeking services, and limited access to culturally appropriate care lead to undiagnosed health issues and preventable illnesses. The community needs a safe, free, and accessible way to receive basic health screenings and information.
