Idea Submission for The People's Money:
This program is designed to equip Black and Brown community members with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to start and sustain their own businesses. Through hands-on workshops, participants learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including business planning, financial literacy, marketing, branding, and accessing capital. The program provides mentorship from experienced business owners, connections to local small-business development centers, and guidance on navigating permits, licenses, and legal requirements. Participants also receive support with building credit, developing business pitches, and leveraging community partnerships.
