Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Vocational training and life skills! More funding for high school students to have access to trade level courses for immigrants and non immigrants in school such as learning how to cook, clean, plumbing, welding, agriculture, sewing, and technical drawing, etc. This aids students to graduate high school with the ability to do a trade/have a trade under their belts. Implementation of vocational program in school.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Because NYC is one of the cities with a great education system, also being a safe haven for immigrants. Not every student immigrant or not is successful in education.
