Idea Submission for The People's Money:: We propose funding accessible legal services for tenant rights violations, particularly providing for high-need community members in the Bronx, as they have the highest percentage of renters with the lowest household incomes.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Seeking professional legal aid can be time consuming, inaccessible, and expensive for the average working class New Yorker. By having more affordable legal help on deck, high-need community members can get tenant rights issues resolved on their own terms.
