Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Our idea is 200 Bronx moms after giving birth would receive free bi-weekly postpartum therapy one on one virtual or in person if they choose for the first year of their child’s life. The mother could be selected by partnering with hospitals and looking at hospital exit surveys.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Mothers in NY dying 9-10x outside of the country; postpartum depression is high. If Bronx new mom had support with therapist and were not alone, care for self and family, this impact health outcomes for entire family.
