create a free digital safety for elders. program at local senior center & community spaces. Small group classes will teach older adults how to use smartphones & emails, spot scam emails/texts/calls protect password and safely use banking; government websites trained instructors & youth volunteers will give one on one help
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
elders are being pushed to use phones, emails and online banking for almost everything but many have never been taught how to use it safely. scammers target elders with fake emails and online banking causing them to lose money. funding digital safety education will help protect seniors saving, reduce fraud
