This idea has advanced to one of our five Borough Assemblies. Throughout four deliberation sessions, Assembly members will decide whether the idea moves on to the final ballot.
Cultural Arts For All
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- Art workshops series throughout the summer where families youth, and seniors will commit to 8 weeks of either theater. cultural arts, visual arts, dance or music in partnerships with applied therapist
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- Arts and culture should receive more funding as it's only receiving .2% of the city budget, thus neglecting the cities growing need for artistic growth and expression and cultural competency. This would benefit families, youth and elders to establish and strengthen their creative skills and social emotional skills
