Idea Submission for The People's Money:: 1 per week Carnival Caribbean Whining 101 Dance Class at 6:30-7 starting time. Experienced Caribbean instructors will teach a group of 25-30 people how to dance, then at the end of the session participants will eat food/snacks from that perspective culture! Which can later extend into a community center.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: This topic area should receive more funding so that migrants who move into NYC for economic gain alongside a multitude of reasons can get a break from our capitalist-driven city and immerse themselves in their/other cultures through food and dance.
