Jamaica Bay Restoration Program

A free program for teenagers (13 -18), where they work with plants around Jamaica Bay. They will be guided by expert, equipped with instruments to help survey plants and circumvent flooding. These efforts are directed towards restoring Jamaica Bay.

There has been a lot of flooding within NYC for the past couple of years, especially in communities surrounding Jamaica Bay. It doesn't help that NYC was recently declared a subtropical environment, rendering the climate somewhere unpredictable.
