At the same time, many communities—particularly in Central Brooklyn—lack access to affordable, high-quality trade education.\nJetEx Mechanical LLC and CBEDC are united in tackling this problem through a community-centered trade school that removes financial, educational, and access barriers.\nResidents currently face:\nFew affordable trade programs in their neighborhoods\nLong travel times to reach training centers\nLimited exposure to welding and mechanical career paths\nBarriers to union apprenticeships\nLack of direct links to employment\nThis program directly addresses those challenges.\nCommunity Need &amp; Impact\n1. A Direct Path to High-Paying Careers\nCertified welders and mechanical workers earn $35–$75 per hour, and employers across NYC are struggling to hire qualified talent.\n2.
