Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Provide civic literacy workshops that provide understanding of local government structures, budget, voting right etc. Also, covers pubic speaking, community organizing and how to raise awareness on civic issues.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Residents in our community feel disconnected from local decision making and not sure or don't know how to influence policy or advocate for community needs. We also need to understand how the government works.
