Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Morningside Park is full of baseball and softball play all year round. The two diamonds are a favorite for youth and rec leagues alike. It would be great to have the same batting cage facilities available at Riverside park for uptown families. Baseball and softball bring people from different backgrounds together and allow communities to flourish.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: There are very few places uptown that offer public batting cages. Riverside park is the current closest option. Batting cages at Morningside Park will enhance the park's appeal as a place for youth and adult rec leagues to enjoy.
