Youth Fitness: Mind in Motion

Idea Submission for The People's Money:
an afterschool program a partnership between a local gym and local library. providing the mental health diagnosed youth ages 14-26 with fitness opportunities at SBH Healthplex and engagement at the Tremont or Belmont library with opportunities of job skills development and opportunities. By combining the two interests we can fulfill health improvement and safe spaces for youth. Using referrals from SBH Hospital for the targeted demographic
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Funding in Health and wellbeing is lower than most funds in the city. Starting with funding programs for the youth can set them up for success. It's becoming more common for our youth to suffer from mental health conditions.
