Idea Submission for The People's Money:
“Taste the World” is a hands-on cultural cooking and baking program designed for young adults under 24 who want to explore global cuisines while building essential life skills in the kitchen. Through guided instruction, interactive workshops, and cultural discussions, participants will learn how food reflects identity, history, and tradition across the world. The program aims to foster appreciation for diversity, creativity, and self-sufficiency while strengthening community bonds through shared culinary experiences.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Cultural Awareness: Introduce participants to international cuisines and their cultural significance. Skill Development: Teach practical cooking and baking skills to promote confidence and independence for children and young adults. Community Engagement: Create opportunities for young adults to connect and collaborate. Health & Sustainability: Encourage nutritious, affordable, and eco-friendly cooking practices. Empowerment: Inspire participants to experiment with global recipes at home and share them with others.
