In-person mental health services for children

Avatar: Vincent McKeever Vincent McKeever Advanced to Assemblies
Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Offer in-person mental health services for children who are still feeling the negative effects of Covid due to school lockdowns, the cancellation of activities and an unnatural increase in screen time that has led to severe anxiety. In-person mental health services are continuously difficult to find but are more effective than virtual sessions for children.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
Since Covid shut down schools and activities for children and heavily increased screen time back in 2020 our kids have been dealing with anxiety and other mental health issues. Ironically most mental health services are virtual which only adds to screen time and less human connection. Finding in-person services is incredibly difficult and our kids are more likely to succeed if they interact with people face to face.
