Social Media Literacy for Older Adults

Avatar: Kissena Synergy Kissena Synergy Advanced to Assemblies
Idea Submission for The People's Money:
With cellphones, older adults have stopped learning to use a computer. With apps, like FB and YouTube, they have access to social media without understanding the pitfalls of it and how the algorithm can shape your content. So having classes or outreach flyers to help older adults understand social media and how to use it and how it can affect or effect you.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?
In this day and age, people of all ages have access to post-to-use technology, but not the literacy on how it affects you. So we should use resources to help people understand.
