Idea Submission for The People's Money:
Ideas Collected from the Brooklyn IG Session Participants proposed a range of creative and community-focused initiatives, highlighting education, youth development, and immigrant support. The collected ideas include: Library Revitalization Program – Enhancing local libraries with updated resources, technology access, and community engagement activities. Afterschool Reading Club – Creating a fun and supportive space for students to improve literacy skills and foster a love of reading. Peer Tutoring Program – Encouraging students to support each other academically through structured tutoring and mentorship opportunities. Rational Learning Model – Developing innovative and practical teaching methods to make learning more effective and accessible for all. STEM Project Memorial – Launching a project-based STEM initiative to honor and inspire young innovators within the community. Increased Job Opportunities for Youth (14+) – Expanding part-time work and internship opportunities for teenagers to build skills and experience. Educational Programs for Immigrant Parents – Offering workshops and learning sessions to help parents better understand the education system, support their children, and strengthen English proficiency.

Lack of mental Health support, student don't feel safe sharing their feeling or concern. Lack of program to educate immgrant parents. Limited SYEP.
