Idea Submission for The People's Money:: Hire an attorney to force the NYC Department of Transportation to comply with the state Vehicle and Traffic Law. especially section 1680 which specifies rules for traffic signs. Require NYPD and the Parking Violations Bureau to comply with the same law.
What is the problem your idea aims to address?: Many, if not most recently installed DOT traffic control devices are unlawful, yet motorists receive unlawful summonses for violating them and the PVB unlawfully convicts them and collects fines.
