Throughout four deliberation sessions, Assembly Members decided to advance this idea to one of the final borough ballots for New Yorkers to vote on. The idea has been edited by Assembly Members and CEC staff to fit ballot character limits and remove all references to specific institutions and geographies. Here is the final idea title and description as it will appear on the ballot:

- Educating mainstream students about the disabled community and careers with the disabled community would involve after school interaction, training programs, after school information sessions, on-job opportunities with the disabled community, afterschool resource fairs with the disabled community, job fairs with the disabled community, flyers, social media campaigns to recruit high school students to careers with the disabled community, outreach to business for job fair and training.

- With the goal towards helping the disabled community, students in mainstream education need more interacting with information about this community. High school students need education and career opportunities with the disabled community.
