Basics of Money Management and Wealth Building
- Idea Submission for The People's Money:
- How to manage your money and build wealth
- What is the problem your idea aims to address?
- Many New Yorkers—especially youth, working families, and underserved communities—lack access to practical financial education. Without basic knowledge of money management, budgeting, credit, and wealth-building strategies, people often fall into cycles of debt, limited savings, and missed opportunities for financial growth. This lack of financial literacy contributes to long-term economic instability, reduced homeownership, and financial stress that affects overall community well-being. Our idea addresses this gap by providing engaging, easy-to-understand workshops and tools that empower participants to take control of their finances, make informed decisions, and build generational wealth.
