Describe the challenge you want to address:

A lot of the Queens population doesn't have direct Subway access, instead using cars as the default way to get around. Even though everybody is served by buses and sometimes the LIRR. Preferring cars leads to increased pollution and traffic around Queens, especially when they are used for small tasks like going to the supermarket. If more people take mass transit as part of everyday tasks, we can all help the environment.

What is the solution to the challenge?

Host local outreach events and initiatives to inform people of public transport options available to them in their neighborhoods. Suggesting ways to use public transport more in everyday life that people may not have considered or be aware of. Especially for older and younger people who may not be able to drive themselves.
