Describe the challenge you want to address:: I live in queens and have seen the incredible about of food scarcity. I am sure that food insecurity impacts many NYERS. Queens has worked on this issue by creating community run food pantries + fridges. I think this should be continued in other boroughs.
What is the solution to the challenge?: Building community fridges in low-income neighborhoods + parks in Manhattan. Assign a team to maintain these fridges, perhaps from the parks department.
