Describe the challenge you want to address:
1. Claremont Community Center lacks professional staff development, and lack of community growth. 2. This community center could use a beautification of arts and cultural mural from the outside to the inside in order to invite more community people to engage in the activities and programs that are offered. The building does not look welcoming and looks hostile.
What is the solution to the challenge?
1. By offering staff free workshop and trainings to better serve the community, this will help the center to build great leadership skills in their staff to better serve the community. This can be online (virtual) or in-person training. 2. By funding a new paint job both inside and outside of the community center, it can open new opportunities for members to start engaging and trusting their community centers. A mural painting would make a huge difference.
