North Bronx community has low and stagnant wages. People are not able to climb up the economic ladder. People need certification and training in higher wage careers that may not require school diplomas.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Job training program that has various specialties that leave students with licenses or certificates that will help people elevate career-wise. Many people may not have time or funds for college. Examples of certificates/licenses include: CDL, TLC, Construction (OSHA), security/fire guard, plumbing, electrician, mechanics
