Describe the challenge you want to address:

We think that many people are unaware of earthquake risk in NYC. We think that foreign language speakers could use targeted education for disaster risk/preparedness knowledge. Including knowledge of flooding, blackouts, housefires, earthquakes, terror attacks, etc.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

We want to address natural disaster preparedness for English as a second language or foreign language speakers, especially disadvantaged population. "Evacuation Plan" "What to do it..." "Prevention and Preparedness" Workshop series. Literature in multiple languages.
