The children living in new york are part of whats known as the migrant crisis need services urgently, practical programs that can help them transition to English proficiency. The COVID 19 pandemic has created suffering in terms of widening the learning gap in educational difference and challenges with social skills and communication amongst youth.

Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:

Therapeutic learning centers should be centered on CUNY campuses, community centers or schools in the Bronx to help communities both native and non-native populations with 1) critical thinking skills 2) working 3) vocalizing/communication 4) increased language proficiency the learning workshops should be intended as a kind of therapy to undo any stigma and would be centered around encouraging socializing and community building
